  1. SET USER-LEVEL NOVICE/expert  -  whether the hint line appears

  3. The USER-LEVEL determines whether the hint line appears above the MM
  4.   prompts.  The top-level hint line is:
  5.     [ H=headers R=read REV=review S=send Q=quit BYE ?=Hints HELP ]
  6.   The setting NOVICE makes the hints appear; EXPERT hides them.

  8. You may want to change the settings of two other variables if you change 
  9.   the USER-LEVEL.  The recommended values are:

  11. set user-level novice            set user-level expert
  12. set crt-filter /usr/ucb/more.mm -x    set crt-filter /usr/ucb/more -d
  13. set use-crt-filter-always yes        set use-crt-filter-always no
